+Jodi is a 4th year graduate student studying genetics in Dr. Katherine Pollard’s Lab at the University of California, San Francisco. Jodi’s research focuses on creating and working with deep learning models to study the complex DNA sequence grammar regulating the genome. Currently, she is leveraging Cardiac-Akita, a DNA sequence to 3D genome folding deep learning model, to predict how genetic variants associated with congenital heart defects disrupt 3D genome contacts.
-Aditi Chandra is a postdoctoral research fellow in Vahedi Lab. Aditi received her PhD degree in Biochemistry, from the University of Calcutta, India. Her research interests include understanding the interplay between genomic factors regulating chromatin folding and gene regulation in immune cells.

+Yanyu Zhu is a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Stanley Qi’s Lab in the Department of Bioengineering at Stanford University. He obtained his B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In collaboration with Prof. W. E. Moerner’s lab, he developed and applied a high-resolution, reagent-based DNA imaging platform, Oligo-LiveFISH, to investigate 3D chromatin dynamics in live cells. His current research focuses on applying Oligo-LiveFISH to study various biological questions such as the relationship between the 3D genome and gene regulation in real time, as well as investigating the dynamic process of DNA repair.
-Weixiang Fang is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biomeidical Engineering and Center for Epigenetics at Johns Hopkins University. Currently, he is a member of the Reza Kalhor lab, working on developing computational methods for lineage tracing technology and studying developmental biology. Prior to joining the lab, he did his PhD in Dr. Hongkai Ji’s Lab where he conducted research on methods for single cell genomics and functional comparative genomics and was a member of NHGRI’s ENCODE consortium.
