-Nathan Zemke obtained his Ph.D. in 2019 from UCLA. He joined the lab of Dr. Bing Ren as a postdoc in 2020, researching gene regulatory programs in neurodegenerative disease and evolution. He is now Associate Director of Single Cell Genomics at the Center for Epigenomics at UCSD devoted to profiling the epigenome and organization of the 3D genome and utilizing this information to understand human diseases.

Natalie's thesis research is focused on uncovering the biochemical basis of olfactory receptor transcriptional hubs in olfactory sensory neurons. Before starting graduate school at Columbia University Natalie's undergraduate research was focused on the relationship between structure and function of heat shock proteins.
