D., is an Associate Professor of Genetics and Cell Biology at Yale School of Medicine. Research in his lab focuses on the development and application of state-of-the-art image-based omics approaches to understand the spatial organization of mammalian genome and transcriptome, and how they impact cellular states. Originally from China, Dr. Wang received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Peking University in 2007. He then moved to the US and received a Ph. D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton in 2011 and later his postdoctoral training at Harvard. In 2017 he was appointed Assistant Professor by Yale University, and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2023. |

- | Dr. Shu is a Professor at University of California - San Francisco, he loves designing innovative biological tools based on new physical and chemical principles, and applying them to discover new biological principles and therapeutics, including imaging and manipulating cell signaling such as protease and kinase activities, biomolecular condensates, inhibitors of undruggable targets. Prior to start his independent lab at UCSF as an assistant professor in 2010, Dr. Shu conducted postdoc training with Dr. Roger Tsien (Nobel Laureate) at UCSD in Biochemistry from 2007 to 2010, after completing his Ph.D. in Biophysics (Protein Crystallography) at University of Oregon. | +

- | **Title: //“Distinct regulation of Histone H1 gene expression within the histone locus body”// ** | + | Julian is a biologist oriented to study the mechanisms that regulate cell fate and to develop lineage conversion strategies to generate clinically relevant cell types in vitro. He works as a Senior Scientist in the laboratory of Danwei Huangfu at the Memorial Sloan Kettering and is currently in the job market to start his own laboratory. His current research aims to elucidate the epigenetic factors that support cellular plasticity in pluripotent stem cells. |

- | We are part of the Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics Department and Simpson Querrey Epigenetics Institute at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Our research program is centered on understanding the dynamics of histone variants and the role of histone chaperones in defining organization of the human genome. We use a variety of genomic and proteomic discovery approaches to define novel pathways that contribute to histone gene expression and deposition. And we seek to understand how the dysfunction of histone metabolism underlies in various disease states. I received my Ph.D. from Northwestern University and conducted my postdoctoral training with Dr. Don Cleveland at UCSD/Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. | +
