-Dr. Shu is a Professor at University of California - San Francisco, he loves designing innovative biological tools based on new physical and chemical principles, and applying them to discover new biological principles and therapeutics, including imaging and manipulating cell signaling such as protease and kinase activities, biomolecular condensates, inhibitors of undruggable targets. Prior to start his independent lab at UCSF as an assistant professor in 2010, Dr. Shu conducted postdoc training with Dr. Roger Tsien (Nobel Laureate) at UCSD in Biochemistry from 2007 to 2010, after completing his Ph.D. in Biophysics (Protein Crystallography) at University of Oregon.+

+**Title: //“// **//**The Molecular Basis of Solid-Phase Separation in Olfactory Transcriptional Hubs** //**//"//**  Natalie is a staff associate and recent Ph.D. graduate from the Lomvardas Lab at Columbia University. Natalie's thesis research is focused on uncovering the biochemical basis of olfactory receptor transcriptional hubs in olfactory sensory neurons. Before starting graduate school at Columbia University Natalie's undergraduate research was focused on the relationship between structure and function of heat shock proteins.

-We are part of the Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics Department and Simpson Querrey Epigenetics Institute at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Our research program is centered on understanding the dynamics of histone variants and the role of histone chaperones in defining organization of the human genome. We use a variety of genomic and proteomic discovery approaches to define novel pathways that contribute to histone gene expression and deposition. And we seek to understand how the dysfunction of histone metabolism underlies in various disease states. I received my Ph.D. from Northwestern University and conducted my postdoctoral training with Dr. Don Cleveland at UCSD/Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research.+

+**Title: //“// **//**Regulation of immune signal integration and memory by 3-dimensional genome** //**//”//**  Andy Chen is a physician-scientist and a Ph.D. candidate in Bioengineering at Stanford University, advised by Dr. Ansuman Satpathy. His research focuses on applying high-throughput genomics, and computation to study immune system principles in infection and cancer. Andy holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.D. from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
