Title: “Development of single-cell SPRITE to map higher order nuclear structures within single cells ”

Mary Arrastia is a 4th year PhD student in Dr. Rustem Ismagilov’s lab at California Institute of Technology. She received her B.S. degree in Chemistry from California State University, Los Angeles. She is currently working in collaboration with Dr. Mitch Guttman’s lab to develop a single cell assay of SPRITE to improve our understanding of single cell higher-order genome organization.

**Yanxiao Zhang**

Postdoctoral fellow

Title: “Transcriptionally Active HERV-H Retrotransposons Demarcate TADs in Human ESCs”

Yanxiao is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Bing Ren's laboratory, at Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research San Diego. He is interested in epigenomics, chromatin architecture and single-cell technologies. He obtained PhD from the Bioinformatics program at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, under supervision of Dr. Maureen Sartor.
