She earned her Ph.D. from Hannover Medical School (Germany), focusing on MAPK-related signal transduction and regulation of oligomerization of small heat shock proteins. During postdoctoral training in Dr. Stephen Doxsey's lab (UMASS Medical School) she studied centrosome biology. Currently she is working in Prof. Paul Kaufman's lab (UMASS Medical School), studying the composition and regulation of nucleolus-associated chromatin. ---- 8:30-8:50 am Pacific Time, then 10-minute discussion and Q&A {{https://sites.google.com/a/4dnucleome.org/4d-nucleome-wiki/_/rsrc/1488529683352/science-webinars-1/2016HeadshotHHMI.jpg?direct&160x200|sites.google.com_a_4dnucleome.org_4d-nucleome-wiki_rsrc_1488529683352_science-webinars-1_2016headshothhmi.jpg}} Sofia Quinodoz PhD Student California Institute of Technology [[squinodo@lncrna.caltech.edu|]] Title: Mapping RNA and DNA in higher-order nuclear structures Sofia Quinodoz is a PhD student in Mitchell Guttman's laboratory at California Institute of Technology.
