**Title**: “Pairing enhancers with their target genes via multiplexed cellular genetic screens”

Molly Gasperini began her human genetics research training as a University of Washington undergraduate in Mary-Claire King's lab. After a 2 year stint working in Louis Kunkel's muscular dystrophy lab at Harvard Medical School, she returned to UW to pursue a PhD with Jay Shendure in the Department of Genome Sciences, where she has been focused on understanding the noncoding genome.

**Title**: “Co-opted transposons help perpetuate conserved higher-order chromosomal structures”

Mayank NK Choudhary is a PhD student in Professor Ting Wang’s group at Washington University in St. Louis. His primary research interests are in better understanding gene regulation and deciphering the very many roles transposable elements play in mammalian genomes. He received his B. Tech. (Hons) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) in 2014.
