Opportunity Pool-supported Administrative Supplements (OPAS)

The NIH 4DN Working Group and the NIH Common Fund Office have decided to support new 1-yr research or tool-development proposals that address outstanding challenges related to 4DN’s mission. These new projects will be funded through Opportunity Pool-supported Administrative Supplements (OPAS) to existing 4DN awards. The attached announcement describes the research areas open to support and the OPAS application process. The related timeline is as follows:

• Before April 5^th , 2019 Submit short LOI and discuss OP concept with Program Staff
• April 22^nd , 2019 Deadline for application
• May 10^th , 2019 NIH-approved funding plan
• Early June, 2019 Issuance of Administrative Supplements
