Title: Heterochromatin drives organization of conventional and inverted nuclei
Martin is a graduate student in Professor Leonid Mirny's group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His primary research interests are at the intersection of nuclear organization and polymer physics. Recently, Martin and collaborators have developed a model for the spatial separation of eu- and heterochromatin, informed by analysis of both Hi-C and microscopy.
