+Siyuan (Steven) Wang, Ph. D., is an Associate Professor of Genetics and Cell Biology at Yale School of Medicine. Research in his lab focuses on the development and application of state-of-the-art image-based omics approaches to understand the spatial organization of mammalian genome and transcriptome, and how they impact cellular states. Originally from China, Dr. Wang received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Peking University in 2007. He then moved to the US and received a Ph. D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton in 2011 and later his postdoctoral training at Harvard. In 2017 he was appointed Assistant Professor by Yale University, and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2023.
-Harshini is a senior graduate student in Jennifer Cremins' lab at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Bioengineering. Prior to joining the Cremins Lab, she earned her Master's in Bioinformatics from Georgia Tech, Atlanta. Harshini's focus is on understanding how the 3D genome folding patterns, particularly chromatin loops, regulate gene expression in neurological disorders and neural activation model systems.

-Johannes is a postdoctoral fellow in the labs of Ting Wu and George Church at the Wyss Institute and Harvard Medical School. With a background in physics, he ventured into biology during his PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Germany, where he developed tools for quantitative super-resolution microscopy. His current research focus is enabling the visualization of nuclear organization at the single protein level.

+Julian is a biologist oriented to study the mechanisms that regulate cell fate and to develop lineage conversion strategies to generate clinically relevant cell types in vitro. He works as a Senior Scientist in the laboratory of Danwei Huangfu at the Memorial Sloan Kettering and is currently in the job market to start his own laboratory. His current research aims to elucidate the epigenetic factors that support cellular plasticity in pluripotent stem cells.
