• At what point becomes a publication a 4DN publication and is governed by the rules laid out in this policy? This is crucial for publications funded by multiple grants and/or when there are 4DN and non-4DN authors.
• Do we require or recommend public sharing of revised preprints?
• What to do about manuscripts with a preprint that are rejected by journal A, which allows preprints, and then resubmitted to journal B, which does not allow preprints?
• Should program officers or the Steering Committee be informed when there is a delay in sharing a manuscript due to IP concerns?
• Concern about the\timing of provisional patent applications that might expire before a manuscript is published, which *might* be needed to find a commercial partner that supports the actual patent application. 2. Discussion of\Data Release Policy:\__
