Work of the 4DN Phase 1 IWG has catalyzed activity in the celularl bioimaging community at multiple levels from individual researchers to imaging facilities to infrastructure stakeholders. This working group aims to conduct work that will lead to Image Data Standards (DIN/ISO, NIST, IEEE, etc.) by coordinating 4DN work with work being conducted by the community at large. The aim of this work is to maximize the quality, reproducibility of 4DN datasets and tools, maximize their impact for the community, and support the community in further developing tools, and specifications.
