The mailing list for the working group has been changed. Please use outreach@4dnucleome.org from now on as the new mailing list address.
The overall goal of the 4DN Network Outreach/Education Working Group is to increase visibility of the 4DN Network and its associated resources, and foster interactions and collaborations with the larger biomedical community.
The 4DN Network will establish ties with scientists, data providers, and user community. Our project places a strong emphasis on empowering our users to take full advantage of our software tools and protocols. The 4DN Network will engage with researchers, collaborators, and sister consortiums through hands-on teaching sessions in the form of seminars, small classes, video tutorials, workshops, and conferences. We will develop 4DN-specific tutorial material and present at conferences as 4DN representatives. We will coordinate integration of 4DN data into other repositories and import relevant data from projects external to the 4DN Consortium into our own network to allow for comprehensive analysis. We will incorporate researcher suggestions into the 4DN framework and provide technical support for specific requests.
